Hints

You get 2 free hints per day. After that, you can take up to 9 more per day by watching a short ad or buying them one by one. With an Ad-Free Subscription, those 9 hints need no ad and no extra fee. The daily total is 11. The allowance resets the next day.

Ad-Free Subscription

The monthly plan covers extra hints and unlimited parent word-list updates. Character and background purchases are not included.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. The current period is not refunded. Benefits continue until the end date.

To cancel through Apple: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Word Pals > Cancel Subscription.

Common issues

A word may be rejected if it is not in the dictionary or is on the blocked list.
If a definition does not load, check your internet connection.
If an ad does not open, you can buy the hint or subscribe.
